*This is the note from Chris Cobb that Myron references in the video: “Thanks Myron, I’m planning to come by this Thursday for your 40th anniversary celebration.
CONGRATULATIONS, my friend!! You have done a truly outstanding job, of always giving your customers a great time. They get to see and hear the best unique local music around in a comfortable, non-pretentious setting with actual reasonably priced drinks. Not only that but you are friend and supporter of all of us local musicians. You have no idea how much that means to me as well as any other musicians that I know well enough to talk about it with. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure that I started playing at The Saloon around 1985, so I‘ve been around just about the whole 40 years. It’s been my pleasure. Thanks for the date on the 21st and thank you for all the great years too. See you Thursday night. Chris
